The World Landmark Merapi Park, Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta is such a city with never ending story, especially when we talk about its tourism objects. There have been so many tourism spots exist in Yogyakarta and recently there is a new object which just launched on June, 25 2017, it is The World Landmark Merapi Park Yogyakarta. There are some famous world landmarks exist there, such as Eiffel Tower, Pisa Tower and Liberty Statue. Besides, there are also some photo spots which taken from the unique object of the world, such as London's public telephone, London's post box, Dutch Windmill Big Ben, and another well-known spots. The world landmarks that available here are decorated as the original spot, for example around the Dutch Windmill, there is a beautiful Tulip Flower park. In addition, this location also has the beautiful park which full of colorful flower and plants that supported the wonderful view all around the world landmark. So, the visitors will get double benefits, first for sure the great picture from some photo spots which are instagramable and the second one is they can enjoy the natural view with the very fresh air.

Location and Route

The World Landmark Merapi Park is located in Jl. Kaliurang km 25, Hargobinangun, Pakem, Sleman, Yogyakarta. If we start our vacation from the central city of Yogyakarta, we need to take Kaliurang Street, go along the street until we find a T-intersection where Gunung Merapi Museum direction plank can be found. Turn left until we find an intersection, then turn right. The location of The World Landmark Merapi Park is not far from Gunung Merapi Museum.

Public Facility and Ticketing

Not only having a good view, this tourism object also have some public facility which mostly needed by the visitors. There is a large parking area, so we don't need to be worry if we go there by our own vehicle or using a bus. There are some toilets in some strategic area, so the visitors can easily find it whenever they need it. If we need to take a rest for a while, there are also some gazebos provided at this location and there is also a cafe that serves us some snacks and beverages. For the ticketing price, it is quiet cheap, we need to pay IDR 15.000 for entrance fee. In addition, it is free ticketing for children under two years old.

The World Landmark Merapi Park opens everyday at 9 am and closes at 5 pm. At last, I will give you some tips for the best time to visit this spot, if we want to get the beautiful view for taking picture on this spot we need to go there at 3 pm. Thats it.
