As we know, recently there are so many new tourism objects in Yogyakarta. Tebing Breksi is one of the newest tourism object which is located in Sleman, Yogyakarta. It was firstly legitimated last year on May, 30 2015. Within this object, there is also Tlatar Seneng. It is an outdoor rounded stage which is completed by the audiences seat around it. The usage of this stage is for showing some events, such as theather, traditional events, and many more.

History of Tebing Breksi

Actually, this objects comes from the rock mine workings around the location which was already started since 1980. This object is called Tebing Breksi since based on the research, it consists of the breksi lime rocks (batu kapur breksi) which cames from the volcanic dust of Nglanggeran Ancient Mountain, Gunungkidul. Besides, the name of Breksi itself came from the villager's idea in order to make this object well-known broadly.

Fun Activities

There are some adventure activity which you can do here such as rock climbing, mountain-bike attraction, and photograph hunting. You can also do a tracking to reach the top side of this object, you don't need to be worry since the way to go upstairs is very easy, you just need to step up on the rock-stairs. From the top side, you can see the great and beautiful view of Yogyakarta city, the wonderful view of Merapi Mountain at the north side, and also the amazing scenery of some temples nearby such as Prambanan Temple, Sojiwan Temple and Barong Temple. So awesome! For the couple who want to hunt the pre-wedding pictures, it would be the great spot choice also. In order to make your adventure much more comfortable, don't forget to wear the comfort shoes and hat.

Ticketting Price

Talking about the ticketting, it is quite cheap since it costs IDR 2.000 (motorcycle) and IDR 5.000 (car) for paying the parking fee. While for the public facility, since it is still categorized as new object, so there is still no public facility here. But, the management plans to build the outbond area soonest, so we hope that the public facilities will also available as soon as possible.

Access

The access to go to this object is also quite easy. You can use your own motorcycle or car and you can also take public transportation. Tebing Breksi is close to Prambanan Temple, it is around 7 kilometers of the south direction. So, don't skip this wonderful object whenever you go to Yogyakarta.
